差分延遲線DDL
當(dāng)兩個正交偏振態(tài)信號以不同的速度通過一個系統(tǒng)時將產(chǎn)生偏振模式色散(PMD),限制高速網(wǎng)絡(luò)的最大信號傳輸率。差分偏振延遲線(DDL)的工作原理是將輸入信號分割成兩個偏振態(tài),動態(tài)地改變兩個偏振態(tài)之間的相對延遲,然后再將它們重新組合成新的偏振態(tài)輸出光纖。正交偏振態(tài)之間的相位延遲是通過線性位移臺進(jìn)行精確控制,控制精度可達(dá)3 fs的分辨率。正交偏振態(tài)之間的最大延遲量可達(dá)±50 ps,是高速網(wǎng)絡(luò)系統(tǒng)研究開發(fā)的理想選擇。
