該模塊為 10/100/1000 BASE-T電口 SFP收發(fā)器，是高性能、低成本的模塊符合IEEE802.3-2002和IEEE802.3ab中規(guī)定的千兆以太網(wǎng)和1000BASE-T標(biāo)準(zhǔn)，它支持1000Mbps數(shù)據(jù)速率，通過非屏蔽雙絞線5類電纜傳輸距離可達(dá)到100米
該模塊支持具有5電平脈沖幅度調(diào)制（PAM）信號(hào)的1000 Mbps全雙工數(shù)據(jù)鏈路，電纜有四對(duì)線，每對(duì)線的符號(hào)速率為250Mbps。該模塊提供標(biāo)準(zhǔn)的符合SFP MSA的串行ID信息，可通過2線串行CMOS以A0h地址訪問EEPROM協(xié)議。物理IC也可以通過地址ACh處的2線串行總線訪問。
